School assemblies that your students will remember forever!

Video: The Elephant Story in Northern Thailand.  The essence of our assemblies.  (about 15 mins. long)

"The best weapon we have to save elephants against their slide toward extinction is knowledge. "

Raise funds for your school with an exciting standards-based school assembly.  Editor and author Carol Hale will help your students discover how they can be an important part in reversing the trend of the disappearing Asian elephant.  Students in California, Colorado, and Alabama have been touched upon hearing the plight of the elephants and transformed by the creative process that is helping to save these gentle giants.

Through video, photos, stories, and interactive games, kids will discover truths about:

the intelligent, friendly Asian elephant

the exotic culture of Thailand

carol-sml.jpg (40550 bytes)Based near Huntsville, Alabama, author Carol Hale, former editor and and prolific writer, is presenting first-hand knowledge of the problems faced by Asian elephants from her travels in Northern Thailand.  The exciting and informative presentation has impressed children and adults alike with pictures, videos, and information on the astounding Asian elephants of Northern Thailand.  From the exotic Thai culture to the evolution of the elephant's working environment, you will learn how the Asian elephant lives in this modern world, but needs your help to survive in the future.

Presentations are now being scheduled in the Huntsville, Alabama area.  The fee is $225.00.  Each additional grade level or assembly on the same day is $75.00 up to a maximum of 3 presentations in one day.  In addition, schools will receive a Land of Smiles reproducible worksheet book, a bulletin board set-up, and flyers for all students.  (A travel fee may be added for greater distances.)

The presentation/assembly also comes with a fundraiser run by us.  It provides an opportunity for students and parents to purchase inexpensive Elephant Dung Paper products.  A percentage of sales goes to the elephants and to your school, allowing the schools to get back some of the presentation fees.  Or use this fundraiser toward any other school purchase.
